“Standing Between Desert And Stars” takes us on an imaginary journey of discovery through Arizona’s unique landscape.

From a distance, the biomorphic shapes suggest the mountain ranges surrounding the Valley of the Sun. Up close, the multicolored layers reveal glimpses of our arid flora and iconic fauna. Coyotes, road runners and lizards are some of the desert dwellers cohabitating with saguaro, ocotillo and prickly pear cactus. At night, we can gaze at the sparkling distant stars and the silhouette of the mountain peaks.

Contemplating our place in this desert landscape helps us appreciate an interconnection with the natural world and beyond.
