Industrial Roots is a metaphorical interpretation of our industrial age history. The sculpture combines an oxidized steel pillar which morphs into an elongated bronze upper torso and head in the form of a tree. This acknowledges our industrial revolution past, connecting human existence to the ever-present force of nature. Our society has evolved to the point where all the three elements are interconnected. Our challenge is to find the right balance.
