Giving Tree represents the interconnection and a renewed awareness of our place in nature. A tree is extended as if coming out of the void in the heart space. It honors the gifts the natural world provides humanity and asks for our respect in return. The title references a Shel Silverstein book that has held a special place in my heart since I was a child.
